File2Cart is an online import service, allowing to automatically move your products, categories, customers, orders and other data from .xml, .txt and .csv files to your osCMax based store. You can finally update your store with all the information you need without spending too much time on it. The import process is prompt, secure and affordable. osCMax is a web-based shopping cart application. Its key features include unlimited products and product categories, as well as product specials, virtual and download product support, customer groups and a secure code base.

osCMax provides support of PayPal, Authorize.Net and real time credit card processing. It can be integrated with UPS, USPS and FedEx shipping within the platform itself. For further functionality, it is compatible with most osCommerce modules.

How is osCMax supported by File2Cart shopping cart import service?

Supported Entities*
Products Information about all the items in the store, e.g. Product Title, Description, Model, Created Time, Modified Time, Available, Weight, Quantity, Default Price, Special Price, Tax Class, etc.
Product Images Images, describing each particular product in the store.
Product Extra Fields Supplementary fields, having no exact meanings, that do not affect the product price. E.g. dropdowns, radio buttons or checkboxes.
Product Attributes Supplementary fields, having several meanings, that may affect the product price. E.g. Size, Style, Color, Material, Battery Life, Processor Speed, etc.
Product Variants Specific item variations that, when grouped together, form a particular product. Those variations differ from one another in one or several properties, e.g. small, red t-shirt is one product variant of the shirt product.
Categories Major groups of products in the store.
Category Images Images constituting specific product categories.
Customers Information about all the customers in the store, e.g. Email, Login, First Name, Last Name, Company, Birthday, Phone, Fax, Active, Created Time, Modified Time, etc.
Customer Shipping Address Customer’s mailing/home address, where the order is mailed or shipped to.
Customer Billing Address Customer’s address, where the bill or invoice is sent.
Orders Information about the customers’ orders, e.g. Customer, Customer Info, Billing Address, Shipping Address, Currency, Status, Totals, Created Time, etc.
Order Statuses Information about the customer’s order status, e.g. Complete, In progress, etc.
Order Products Product details in one order, e.g. Name, Price, Number, etc. of each product in an order.
Currencies Currency rates for various countries.
Manufacturers Information about all product manufacturers, e.g. Name, Description, URL, Meta Title, Meta Keywords, Meta Description, etc.
Manufacturer Images Images, describing each particular manufacturer in the source store.
Taxes Information about the specific types of taxes for separate products, e.g. Name, Value, Value Type (percent or exact value in default currency), Created Time, Modified Time, etc.

* The eventual combinations of supported entities depend on the actual variation of source and target shopping carts as well as their settings.

Please note! When the import process is completed all registered customers will have to use password recovery form on the target shopping cart to use their profiles, due to the fact that various shopping carts use different password encryption algorithm.
