Connection bridge file is used to retrieve information and implement interaction between your source file and your target store. You need to upload this file to your store according to the Import Wizard instructions. Bridge file is secured by unique token for more reliable data processing.

How to Install Connection Bridge

You can download bridge file package from:

• "Target Cart Setup" step of Import Wizard. Please click on "Download" link and save and unpack it on your local computer.
• "My Imports" page. Click on "Download Target Bridge" link, then save and unpack files.

Then connect to Target Store using FTP client software (like WinSCP, FireFTP, FileZilla, CuteFTP etc.) and upload “bridge2cart” folder from unpacked package to your store root. Also, you need to set new permissions as following:

• "bridge.php" - 644 or 666, depends on your server configuration;
• "/bridge2cart" folder - 755 or 777, depends on your server configuration.

To check if the Bridge file is working correctly, enter the following address line in your browser: http://[yourstore url]/bridge2cart/bridge.php

If you see “BRIDGE_INSTALLED”, the bridge is working CORRECTLY.
If not, please update permission for items mentioned above once again.

NOTE! We strongly recommend to turn off redirect on your site for proper work of the Connection Bridge file. To check if you need to turn off the redirect, follow this link "http://[yourstore url]/bridge2cart/bridge.php" and once it's redirecting to some other link you should disable redirects in your .htaccess file. It's a hidden file residing in your "shop" folder.
